I hope you are over 18, take caution & listen at your own risk. Most genres contain at least one band that explores intense topics. I'd avoid the metal list if you're trying to steer clear. There's enough good music in the world that you don't need people screaming potentially disturbing lyrics at you. If you're looking for inoffensive music, stick to classical, jazz, indie, pop, rock, funky, edm or outsider. Your listening choices are your responsibility. If you're unsure about a genre or band, do some research or reach out for more information.I will attempt to mark bands that have controversy. I am avoiding certain genres of punk. Not marking the punk / folk punk bands. Some bands were exploring topics that, in today's political climate, is not acceptable. Some controversy from bands of previous generations is music history.

If you feel the need to follow / emulate these bands, prob consider seeing a therapist idk.

Anyways this is gonna take forever.
